Stock Swing Trading – end-of-day stock trading

Stock or share trading including ETFs, futures, options and commodities, day trading and swing trading are all popular financial market trading pursuits, and many of the principles and strategies are similar to forex trading, but the approach is somewhat different. Some people may be better suited to stock and futures trading than forex, but generally more capital is needed for purchase of a stock portfolio.

How can an ordinary person with little or no experience become a stock market "master trader" in a short time? By being the protégé of another master trader.

Imagine if you could receive a "cheat sheet" every night that contained the "cream-of-the-crop" stocks, those that had the highest probability of entering into potentially profitable positions the next day.

Become a Market Mastery Protege with Bill Poulos and profit from the markets, even in the midst of terrible financial data of recent weeks.

Always made available in controlled quantities, allowing for maximum user support, 34-year veteran trader Bill Poulos' Quantum Swing Trader course usually sells out within a couple of weeks.

This month Quantum Swing Trader was released again to a limited number of traders, giving them the opportunity of learning how to trading profitably from a professional organisation.

For a short time you can get a 'sneak preview' of the QST Members' Website and download a free copy of Bill's "Profit Pulling Swing Trading Principles"

  • Poulos - Profit Pulling Swing TradingHow to shave hours off your trading routine forever, so you can spend more time with your family, friends, and hobbies

  • The "sweet spot" of any trend that gives you the greatest profit potential

  • Where to place your stop loss order in any market (hint: it's NOT where most traders would place it)

  • How you can increase your trading opportunities dramatically when you learn the truth about "selling short", and why long positions can be far more risky than short positions

  • How to take the guesswork out of trading and minimize trading stress

  • And much more insight, straight from a 34-year trading veteran.

Introduction to Stock Swing Trading

Swing trading is a commonly used term to describe any method of trading whose trade duration lasts from a few days to a few weeks using daily charts. It gets its name from entering trades that attempt to capture swing moves typical of a bull market from a swing low (when the market corrects down after a sustained rally and then begins to go up once again) to a new swing high which would mark the end of the new rally. Conversely, in a bear market, where the market makes a swing high (when the market rallies up after a sustained move down and then begins to go down once again) to a new swing low which would mark the end of the new leg down. With the right information, your profit chances are better than forex trading where consistent success eludes over 90% of traders.

Stock, futures and 'swing' trading are also popular pursuits suitable for retirees or those living or traveling abroad. Online trading sessions need not require long periods at the computer, but timing will be affected by the difference between EST (when the NYSE and other markets are open) and the trader's current location.

Many of the principles and strategies for stock trading are similar to those of forex and programs can be used for both types of trading. Some people may be better suited to stock trading than forex.

Swing trading is actually one of the best trading styles for the beginning trader to get his or her feet wet, but it also offers significant profit potential for intermediate and advanced traders. Swing traders receive sufficient feedback on their trades after a couple of days to keep them motivated, but their long and short positions of several days are of ideal duration not to lead to distraction. By contrast, trend trading offers greater profit potential if a trader is able to catch a major market trend of weeks or months, but few are the traders with sufficient discipline to hold a position for that period of time without getting distracted. On the other hand, trading dozens of stocks or options per day (day trading) may just prove too great a white-knuckle ride for some, making swing trading the perfect medium between the extremes.

A trader must act swiftly in order to find situations in which a stock has potential to move significantly within a short time frame. Swing trading is mainly used by home-based day traders. Large institutions trade in sizes too big to move in and out of stocks quickly. An individual trader is in a better position to exploit short-term stock movements without the competition of major traders. Swing traders use technical analysis to look for stocks with short-term price momentum. These traders aren't interested in the fundamental or intrinsic value of stocks but rather in their price trends and patterns.

Since Bill Poulos started his groundbreaking Quantum Swing Trader fully-supported training courses, it has sold out five times already. It was made available in October 2006 for 200 traders only, and it sold out in a week. The current release (May '08) is selling quickly. Enrol in your QST course now before it's fully subscribed again.

A key component of Quantum Swing Trading is the Profit Feeder service. This is a daily email that arrives after the market closes and delivers Bill's personal list of stocks that meet Quantum Swing Trader's uptrend and downtrend search criteria.

What this means it that the stocks on the Profit Feeder have a high probability of entering into potentially profitable long or short positions in the short term.

This is what the whole 6lb (2.5kg) package looks like, and there are more resources on the Members' Website. Quantum Swing Trader comes with a full money refund guarantee too.
